Vencomatic Polska has installed the first aviary rearing system in Poland. On May 27th they organized an open door day to show the Jump Start system of Vencomatic to the public.
Rearing is essential for good results in an aviary system. In the rearing period, chicks need to learn how to jump to and from different levels. Vencomatic has developed the Jump Start to train the birds. A gradual change in levels, through which water and feed is offered at different levels teaches the birds to move through the system. When young hens have been trained in a proper way, they will have no problems finding their way in an aviary system.
The open door day was well visited, amongst the visitors were farmers from all across Poland. They were very curious and inquisitive. During the open door day, a presentation was given about the Jump Start system by Marcin Lebok (Vencomatic Polska). Afterwards he received many questions about the Jump Start and about the Bolegg Terrace (Vencomatic’s aviary system).
