Optional air tube for the Bolegg Gallery
The product range for the Bolegg Gallery has been extended with the introduction of an additional air tube. The tube is modular, making it possible to install into existing Bolegg Galleries. Manure belt ventilation is preferably combined with the use of the Clima+ Unit to ensure continuous fresh air at bird level, ensuring the birds constantly remain in optimal climate conditions. The air ducts in the aviary system only contain fresh air so no dust or dirt can get inside.
Using the Clima+ Unit on the Bolegg Gallery system will result in healthier birds with better production, lower mortality, extra eggs per bird and lower FCR.
The fresh, preheated air has a low humidity and will dry the manure on the belt more efficiently, resulting in a higher dry matter percentage and lower ammonia levels. Especially in wintertime the house is much drier resulting in a clean house (cleaner eggs). This saves on tonnage of manure removal and improves the air quality the house considerably.
Example of minimum ventilation:
- 0.7 mᶟ air per bird: a main air supply point is needed in the middle of every 42 sections.
- 1.5 mᶟ air per bird: a main air supply point is needed in the middle of every 24 sections.
